My Heart Can't Let Go of You

 This one is interesting. Found inspiration once again from someone on Discord. This someone, somehow because my Discord mom, which I just accepted. Still, a great person.

My Heart Can't Let You Go


All those years ago, when we were in love. I was floating on air, above the clouds. There didn't seem to be any rainy days. There didn't seem to be any...rainy days.


And the next thing you. I was caught loving someone. We had to go are separate ways. It was a pain inside of my heart. A pain inside my soul. 


And now, my heart can't let you go. My heart can't let you go...go. It feels like an arrow pierced my heart. Pierced my soul. An arrow of never letting go. An arrow of never letting go....go.


I can't look forward, I can only look back. I can't look forward. I can only look back in pain. 


Then you came back into my life, but it wasn't the same. There was no connection of love. Just pain and awkward silence. That's all that remains now. 


And now, my heart can't let you go. My heart can't let you go...go. It feels like an arrow pierced my heart. Pierced my soul. An arrow of never letting go. An arrow of never letting go....go.


The days....they just seem dark, rainy, and cold. No end in sight of stopping the pain. Why does life have to be this way? Can't I be free from these chains? Where's the light at the end of the tunnel?


And now, my heart can't let you go. My heart can't let you go...go. It feels like an arrow pierced my heart. Pierced my soul. An arrow of never letting go. An arrow of never letting go....go.
