Hollow Nights

 Yes, the titled is inspired by the hit game Hollow Knight. And that's where the title came and hit me. And let's get to it.

Hollow Nights


It feels so broken.

Fell into pieces.

I lost my trust of you.

The delicate balance lost.

And I pray for you.


Oh, why did it have to go so wrong.

Oh, why did it have to feel o so hollow.

I just wanted a chance with you.

Now God has see through.

With the eyes that he has.


The hollow night. 

Is this how it feels.

Like walking through broken glass.

With no sight to see.

The darkness blinds me.


I'm stepping in hot coal.

Just to find the truth.

My memories of you.

Crumbles right before me.

And the night feels so hollow.

My hear broken in two.


And as that one band said,

"If God has a master plan.

That he only understands.

I hope it's your eyes he's seeing through."

I hope it will take you back to me.


Wishful thinking.

Is all that I have.

These hollow nights.

Feel so painful.

Feel so broken.

My heart breaks into two.


So much regret.

So much guilt.

Has built this blackin heart.

That I have now.

It hurts everything I do.


And as that band said,

Left us so brittle.

And yet it's so hard to let go of you.

I must go forward.

My heart can't go forward.

From you.

And my heart breaks into two.


Now I feel astray.

Now I crumble into pieces.

The hollowness is like flowing sand. 

Falling through my hands.

It's so hard to throw way the memory of you.


To throw it all the way. 

It feels like a sin.

My hollow blackin heart.

Can't go on with this pain.


And I must move forward.

But my heart can't move forward.

It's all wishful thinking.
