 Inspired by a conversation I had on Discord. Let's get right to it.

The Struggle


I was lost 

I was cold.

Couldn't take a dime.

Needed to hide.

From the struggle on the inside.

Thought it was an easy game to play.


I saw the door calling my name.

The door of the lord.

Coming to take my worries away.

Never felt this before.

The struggle of believing.


Come and find me.

And I'll find you.

God, the o mighty creator.

I have a struggle within.

It's hard to believe. 

To believe in you.

God, the o mighty creator.

I have a struggle within.

Can I really open the door.

See a new light coming onto the floor. 

Help me decide.


I never knew the feeling of calling.

The lord comes to view.

With a door.

Nothing else to be said.

Do I take the hand of the o mighy creator?

The first step into enlightenment.


It feels cold out here. 

Struggling with God.
